Handcrafted and unique traditional Afro-Brazilian style musical instruments - individually crafted by master craftsman Pererê to sound awesome, look great, and feel balanced and wholesome in the hand. Instruments have been finished in a clear lacquer that draws out the natural beauty of the materials and is constructed of a resilient hardwood bow properly mated to a calabash resonator. This instrument averages 57 to 59 inches (4'9" to 4'11") in length when fully armed and comes complete with playing stick (vaqueta), bowstring (corda), and round rock (moeda), and handwoven caxixi (basket rattle).
